The Patriot: Pork Chop, Sauteed Spinach & Baked Tater

From the mountains to the prairies, this comfort meal will never let you down. Pop the potato in the oven, go make America proud for 45 minutes, then cook the pork and spinach and you’re ready to eat.

Active Time: 15 mins Total Time: 60 mins

Ingredients:

  • pork
  • potato
  • spinach
  • oil or butter

Seasoning:

  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part black pepper

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Oven
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F, poke a few holes in the potato, and bake for an hour until inside is soft
Step 2: Oil and season pork
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 4: Cook pork for 3-5 minutes per side, until no longer pink in the middle
Step 5: Rinse spinach under some water and then dry the spinach
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute spinach 3-5 minutes, until spinach is wilted. Stir the spinach every minute or so.
Step 8: Plate pork, baked potato, and spinach together and serve!
