Lean-Protein Loaded Pasta with Spinach & Ground Chicken

We're not sure why pasta gets a bad rap amongst health freaks, but you don't need to worry about this pasta dish. The chicken and spinach have your nutritional needs covered and you don't need to sacrifice any flavor in the process.

Total Time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

  • Pasta
  • Ground Chicken
  • Spinach
  • Olive Oil or Butter

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Pot
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Boil water in a large pot
Step 2: Cook pasta according to package instructions
Step 3: Add oil or butter to a pan and heat over medium heat
Step 4: Cook ground chicken for 7-10 minutes, until no longer pink
Step 5: Remove the chicken and sautee the spinach 3-5 minutes, until wilted
Step 6: Add the pasta and meat to the pan with the spinach and stir to combine
Step 7: Oil and season with:

  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part pepper
  • 2 part oregano
  • 1 part basil
  • 1 part garlic powder
  • 1 part crushed red pepper
