Pan-Seared Salmon with Sauteed Cauliflower & Baked Potato

Fish, potato, veggies. Pretty much all you need out of a meal, right? Even better, this recipe is practically foolproof.

Active Time: 15 mins Total Time: 60 mins

Ingredients:

  • salmon
  • potato
  • cauliflower
  • oil or butter

Seasoning:

  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part black pepper

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Oven
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 F, poke a few holes in the potato, and bake for an hour until inside is soft
Step 2: Oil and season salmon
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 4: Cook salmon skin-side down for 2-3 minutes per side. Reduce heat to low, flip salmon, cover, and cook 5 more minutes.
Step 5: Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute cauliflower for 7-10 minutes, until cauliflower develops a nice golden-brown exterior
Step 8: Plate salmon, baked potato, and cauliflower together and serve!
