Pan-Cooked Salmon with Sauteed Cauliflower & Rice

Sometimes the best meal is the simplest meal. That's the case with this recipe, with each ingredient prepared simply, yet thoughtfully.

Ingredients:

  • salmon
  • rice
  • cauliflower
  • oil or butter

Seasoning:

  • teriyaki sauce
  • sesame oil
  • garlic powder or minced garlic

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Pot
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Cook rice according to package instructions
Step 2: Oil and season salmon
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 4: Cook salmon skin-side down for 2-3 minutes per side. Reduce heat to low, flip salmon, cover, and cook 5 more minutes.
Step 5: Chop cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Step 6: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 7: Saute cauliflower for 7-10 minutes, until cauliflower develops a nice golden-brown exterior
Step 8: Plate salmon, rice, and cauliflower together and serve!
