No-Guilt Pasta with Broccoli, Cauliflower & Ground Turkey


The only hard part of this recipe is deciding which type of sauce to top it off with. The good news is that there’s no bad answer. Do yourself a favor and cook the broccoli and cauliflower in the same pan the chicken cooked in. Saves you one dish to clean and the veggies soak up that meaty flavor.

Prep Time: 10 mins Total Time: 30 mins

Ingredients:

  • Pasta
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower
  • Ground Turkey
  • Oil or Butter

Seasoning:

  • 1 part salt
  • 1 part black pepper

Equipment Needed:

  • Pan
  • Pot
  • Stovetop

Step 1: Cook pasta according to package instructions
Step 2: Chop broccoli and cauliflower into bite-sized pieces
Step 3: Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat
Step 4: Cook ground turkey for 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink
Step 5: Remove turkey from the pan, add more oil or butter, and saute broccoli and cauliflower for 5-10 minutes, until they become crispy and golden-brown
Step 6: Add turkey and pasta into the pan, stir well to combine, season to taste and enjoy!
